On the T.R.A.I.L. to Diabetes Prevention 2017-2018 Application

We are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the On the T.R.A.I.L. (Together Raising Awareness for Indian Life) to Diabetes Prevention Program for the 2017-2018 grant year. All Native Boys & Girls Clubs that are eligible to apply are encouraged to submit an application for this opportunity!

T.R.A.I.L. is an innovative prevention program that provides youth between the ages of 7-11 with a combination of physical, educational, and nutritional activities. Through T.R.A.I.L., participants will have a better understanding of healthy lifestyles in order to prevent type 2 diabetes. The program also emphasizes the importance of teamwork and community service. To learn how you can apply for this grant, continue reading below!

Application Requirements:
  • Complete an electronic application via Survey Monkey.
  • Only one application will be accepted per organization (the application should include information for all units requesting funding).

Two grant application training webinars will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 and Tuesday, September 21, 2017 at 3:00 Eastern Time to provide an overview of the application process and to answer any questions. We encourage you to take advantage of this training if you plan on submitting an application.
