" 'Happy Town' is SuAnne's name for her special place. This is a safe place for children to go, free from drugs, alcohol and gangs. The Boys & Girls Club has made SuAnne's dream a reality. Youth and parents of the reservation depend on the Club for their children's safety and positive socializing. I never knew her, but I believe she is smiling down at 'Happy Town.' She must have been a beautiful person to have such a beautiful dream for the safety and care of the reservation's youth."

- Ohitika Tasso, President of SuAnne Big Crow Keystone Club and a Senior at PineRidge High School

"I think the Club is a place where kids can have fun and enjoy the good things in life and not have to worry about bullies or peer pressure-the Club did that for me. And if I ever needed somebody to talk to, there were always people there that I could look up to. For me, it was a place where I felt comfortable. Being there made me a confident person."

- Jessica Whirlwind Soldier, Club member of 10 years and a Senior at Pine Ridge High School

"In a few short years, you have demonstrated by the power of your example just how much we can accomplish when we all work together to achieve common goals. By creating this place where young people can come for job training, tutoring, recreation, encouragement, and support, you have built much more than a physical structure, you have built the foundation for a better tomorrow."

- William Jefferson Clinton, Former President of the United States
