Notah Presents at NCAI Annual Conference
Native American PGA Golfer & BGCA National Spokesperson, Notah Begay was the keynote speaker at the Gala Banquet of the National Congress of the American Indians (NCAI) 60th Annual Conference on November 17-21. Over 3,000 participants attended the conference.

Notah presented to the audience a snapshot of the Boys & Girls Club movement in Indian Country and goals for the future.

Notah also announced his "Come Walk With Me" exercise challenge to communities and tribes in fighting Diabetes, a disease with an extremely high incidence rate among American Indians. His campaign will be launched in January - check back here for information on details for Club participation.

NCAI was founded in 1944 and is the oldest and largest tribal government organization in the United States with a membership of over 250 tribal governments from every region of the country. NCAI's Executive Director, Jackie Johnson, is a member of the BGCA Native American National Advisory Council (NANAC). BGCA has partnered with NCAI in the National Diabetes Prevention program special initiative which is being piloted at six Native American Clubs.
