The Corporation
for National & Community Service (CNCS) provided critical
resources that allowed Boys & Girls Clubs of America (B&GCA)
to provide funds directly to local Native American communities.
Teaming together, CNCS and B&GCA designed a three-part
strategy to deliver effective prevention programming to
Native American youth which included grants to 10 Native American
Clubs to become SMART Moves pilot sites. Learn how 10 Club sites,
as a result of implementing the SMART Moves program, became
recognized as powerful community resources to help youth stay
away from tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. Click here
