Event Description

The Corporation for National & Community Service has an excellent service opportunity for Tribal Leaders! The Tribal Leader Recognition Day for National Service, otherwise known as Mayor and County Recognition Day, is a day to bring attention to the positive impact mayors, county officials and Tribal leaders have on their communities. Simply put, it is a way to say “thank you” to those who serve. Last year, over 178 million Americans participated in this event to show support for national service groups and to inspire more citizens to take part in national and community service. In previous years, communities have hosted luncheons to recognize those who serve and organized clean-ups of local trails and parks to continue serving their communities. This year we’re hoping to motivate even more people to participate in this Day of Service! Leaders can register for the 2017 Recognition Day here!

Please join us and participate in the 5th Annual Tribal Leader Recognition Day for National Service on Tuesday, April 4, 2017!
