Mentoring in Real Life Webinar Training

Event Details

Webinar Recording and Resource

Event Description

As part of the Collaborative Mentoring Webinar Series funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention through the National Mentoring Resource Center, training webinars are held monthly which aim to guide collaborative mentoring practices that can be utilized among youth serving organizations who understand the mentoring in real life means staying up to date with current trends.

The Mentoring in Real Life webinar training, previously recorded, covered National Mentoring Month tools and activation of those tools. This included best practices with social media in order to drive recruitments, as well as building successful media relationships. Campaign tools from National Mentoring Month are for year round recruitment, visibility, and creation of innovative practices. Social media can also be a powerful tool for engagement of the community and increasing visibility within a community. To build a successful media relationship is to increase recognition and distribution of the importance of mentoring.
