Indian Community Development Block Grant Program

Applications for HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Program (ICDBG) for Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages are now available. Tribes and tribal organizations are eligible to apply and funds may be used to build new community facilities such as a Boys & Girls Club. Up to 15% of the total grant may be set aside for public service activities like youth development/crime prevention programming offered by the Club. For more information, click here.

Daniels Fund Grants Program

Native American Boys & Girls Clubs in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming can apply for grant funding from the Daniels Fund. Based in Denver, CO, this organization supports programs that provide youth with the opportunity to build character, achieve academic success, and build skills that will enable them to become successful adults. Applicants should ensure their programs align with the Daniels Fund’s youth development focus areas, which include academic and supplemental services, civic literacy and community engagement, financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and career and technical education. Lego Systems Lego Children's Fund

Lego Systems Inc., the Americas (North America and Latin America) division of the Lego Group, has announced the formation of the Lego Children's Fund, a nonprofit foundation established to support organizations and programs dedicated to inspiring and encouraging youth creativity, thereby improving their quality of life and preparing them for the future. The fund will make cash grants to nonprofit organizations in the United States with programs dedicated to a child's exploration of creativity that cater to children ages birth to 14, with priority consideration for disadvantaged or at-risk youth.
