Service Project Applications for an AmeriCorps NCCC Team

Boys & Girls Club organizations may request the assistance of AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) teams to complete a service project at their site. Service projects last from six to eight weeks and target needs related to natural and other disasters, infrastructure improvement, environmental stewardship and conservation, energy conservation, and urban and rural development. To request an NCCC team, Club must submit a project application to the regional campus that covers that organization's state. Teams are available to help community and faith-based organizations, national nonprofits, schools, local municipalities, national and state parks, and Indian tribes. The NCCC accomplishes its mission by working with local community organizations and groups to help them meet needs that they have identified and that would not be fully addressed without additional assistance.
