Resources for Mentoring Success

Whether you are well acquainted with mentoring best practices or you are new to this type of programming, it is beneficial to know where resources are located to enhance program implementation in your Club. Check out these three resources to find what new information can be incorporated into your OJP Mentoring program today.

Are you looking for documentation specific to your OJP Mentoring grant or more information about available evidence based programming? BGCA.net is home to administrative, financial, and programmatic requirements that are explicitly for OJP Mentoring grant implementation. In addition to grant specific documentation, there are guides available for various Boys & Girls Clubs of America designed programs that are evidence based that can be implemented along with mentoring.

NAClubs.org

Mentoring Resources NAClubs.org is an online source of culturally specific resources and opportunities that can be utilized to enhance and sustain mentoring in Native Boys & Girls Clubs. Club staff implementing mentoring can visit the Mentoring Resource section under the Club Professionals tab, available only to NAClubs.org account holders, to find materials that have been used to support mentoring programs across many Native communities. Creating an account is free of charge and will allow access to program materials related that are specific to Native Boys & Girls Clubs.

National Mentoring Resource Center

The National Mentoring Resource Center (NMRC), a website that is home to many mentoring resources, aims to provide mentoring tools, program and training materials, and information to support any youth mentoring practitioner across the country who wishes to improve the quality and effectiveness of mentoring. Through the NMRC, Native Clubs will have access to a comprehensive and reliable source of information to support evidence-based practices and cost-free technical assistance.
