November is Native American Heritage Month

November has arrived once again, and we are thrilled to highlight the 2017 Native American Heritage Month Toolkit! This toolkit, having recently been refreshed to have the most up-to-date material, was originally created to aid Club staff in promoting and celebrating Native pride all month long. National Native American Heritage Month is recognized every November as a time to educate the public about Tribes and raise awareness on the unique challenges our communities face today. With this toolkit, your organization will be able to do just that! It includes:

  • Brochure – includes event ideas, Club highlights, and information related to Native American Heritage Month that your Club can use to distribute to members and staff;
  • Social Media Flyer – find topics, quotes, and sample posts your organization can use to celebrate;
  • Traditional Clubs Flyer – here you will find useful information and tips on what your traditional Boys & Girls Club can do to support your Native Unit(s);
  • Large Poster – display this at your Club for members, staff, and visitors to see;
  • Facebook Cover Photo – have your Club’s Facebook page display this cover photo to remind users on the significance of the month of November
  • Signature Graphic – add this to the signature of your email as a fun way to display your November pride

We hope you find these materials useful to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. Have a wonderful November!
